There are hundreds of divinatory practices. Some are quiet ancient, most are a thousand or so years old, and many, many more are being created as you read this! Oracles are codices or alphabets, which may be exoteric or esoteric in construction. Even the simplest, and most explicit divinatory tools, such as stichomancy (tossing a coin) demand a moment's departure from 3-D thoughts to gain access into the realms of the 4th and 5th dimensions of 'potential outcomes', in order to see how we have created these alternatives for ourselves! In this instance 'yes' or 'no' (heads or tails).
Who we were creates who we are now...and what we think creates what we will be! Keep this in mind as you explore the answers to life's questions because the web of fate is elastic in nature - not rigid and linear. Our fate changes as we change so we must always check our beliefs and reprogramme our thoughts to align ourselves with different kinds of pre-chosen outcomes. If we successfully change our beliefs about who we are, we CAN almost certainly avoid creating what we DON'T want to happen instead of what we DO wish to experience in our lives.
Complex oracles like the ubiquitous tarot, are both a philosophy system and divinatory tool. The origins of tarot are obscure. Early tarots have to been traced to medieval europe, but authorship is variously attributed to egyptian, atlantean, assyrian or asian sources. One thing is for sure, the creative mind or minds that devised a tool which could act as mirror, reflecting the workings of the subconscious has a great deal to teach us about the three Universes we deal with throughout our lives on the earth plane. The first Universe is the one you (and you alone) inhabit. In this realm, you have absolute authority, autonomy, power and whatever you say or think or do, goes, because it is your domain. In your Universe, you either recognise your Creative power which makes everything you could ever wish for available to you or you feel you must compete to get what you want. The Second Universe is the one your partner or boss or best friend lives in. In fact, everyone, apart from you, lives in their very own Universe. So the Second Universe of your partner or neighbour is their own Universe, in which they have complete control and autonomy. Just like you, living in your own first Universe, they too can create a subjective reality which is predicated upon the Law of Attraction. In our own Universe, we live in the Now - the eternal present. What we perceive to be true for us, is. The thoughts we have and the beliefs that propagate them, attract like thoughts and what we experience on an imaginal/feeling level, exists and will be made manifest if we observe and respond to the rules of living in the third Universe. In the third Universe we live in a dimension governed by time. What we have created in our Universe, may or may not actually exist in material form but but will manifest at some point in time. If we plan ahead and decide to meet it (receive it), then it will appear at the precise time we have scheduled for it to arrive. However, we do have to remember where we said we would be when we asked for it in the first place! Be sure to date your requests because even if the specified deadline has passed, you can be certain that your wish has shown up somewhere or has been modified by you in the intervening weeks or months, and therefore, needs to be re-clarified, re-formed and re-sent! Don't shoot the messenger, and don't blame the 'system' either. Practice makes perfect, so channel the moping into making otherwise you'll unwittingly attract more of what you don't want instead of the positive things you really do wish to experience in your life!
